Summary
After Ollie moves back to the country for his first year at a literary arts uni, he spends most of his free time outside in the countryside and in nature, trying to reconnect with his past that he had left behind so many years ago. In doing so, he stumbles upon a lake deep within the forest that students are warned not to enter. At first, everything seems fine. He grows a connection with the lake, as it reminds him of his late grandmother and the locket she left behind for him, but quickly, Ollie learns why students went missing in these woods.

He also liked to consider himself a more casual fan, but then Kimi Antonelli stepped into his life, flipped it upside down, and then some.

Ollie has been relatively confident, a healthy amount, he would say. He never thought particularly low of himself. But, as he got closer and closer to Kimi, spending time on and off track together. On and off camera. He really couldn’t pull himself together.
The shared company, the fooling around, the intimacy of it.
He wasn't sure when or how it happened. If there was a set moment in time that triggered this. But this was his reality now.
It felt like his chest was blooming.
