“Sergeant Tsukishima,” addressed Tsurumi, in a familiarly firm tone that pulled every muscle in Tsukishima’s body taut with attention.
“Yes, sir?” Tsukishima could already guess where this was leading.
“I’d love to know what Koito has to say beyond yes or no, but as you well know, iteration is not a strong suit of his when I’m around. Would you be so kind as to do as you’ve done so many times before and serve as the Second Lieutenant’s… Interpreter?” Even for Tsurumi, it was difficult to describe in a single word what it meant to repeat someone’s words, verbatim, in the same language as it’s spoken. Revoicing might have been the most accurate. It was just unfortunate for Tsukishima that this time he’d be doing it during sex.
