Tommy was sick. He wasn’t supposed to be sick, but he felt horrid. His stomach was cramping, he had a migraine, and he kept throwing up. He was shaking and fairly sure he was running a fever. And to make it all worse, he had to go see Dream today. But instead, he was curled up in bed, Henry close to his chest as he cradled the little cow plushie. He was crying softly as whatever was wrong with him ravaged his small body.
He already knew he was late but he couldn’t let Dream know he was worthless- Dream always said sickness was a weakness.. He started praying that none of the vampires would realize he was sick because he knew that they would tell Dream. He knew that they didn’t care and that they’d get him in trouble just for the fun of it.
Because vampires are cruel, They don’t care. It was something he’d learned a hundred times over in his six years of life, That vampires were cruel and heartless and didn’t care about him or his wellbeing
He was sobbing so hard he didn’t hear the door open, a cold hand placed itself on his shoulder- He jerked so hard he almost smacked his head into the wall as he whirled around to face-

Purpled heard a voice shouting at him from the window he just jumped through. He didn’t even bother listening to it as he ran away as fast as he could. He didn’t know where he was running to but he figured running was better than panicking so he just kept on going. He didn’t know how far he ran when he saw the forest in the distance. He didn’t even think as he grabbed some wood from the nearest tree and crafted himself a wooden sword. Anything was better than nothing. After he was done crafting, he just kept on running.
Purpled saw three people ahead of him, but he just kept on running straight towards them. If he tried to run a different way, or turn at all, his legs might buckle underneath him. He ran straight into the arms of a stranger, barely registering the, “Are you okay?” the stranger asked before passing out.
Or, Purpled finds the dream team and gets the therapy he deserves.

He drew in a breath, lifting his head, blinking away the white haze that had crept into his vision, steadily making the world go fuzzy. A static lens clicked over his vision, the violet glow reflected back in frost-covered windows starting to flicker, his head spinning.

Summary
Tommy had a plan. He didn't want to live on this earth anymore, didn't want to be here with his borderline abusive brothers and neglectful father. So he wasn't going to.
He never has to listen to his brothers calling him terrible names and hitting him. He doesn't have to go to work tomorrow after school so he can eat food he actually likes, and dream of moving out of his own personal hell one day.

“Wha- how…? Tommy, what the hell”, Purpled tried to form a full sentence, with little success. What he had really meant to say was:
"Hey, Toms, new friend, magical being, hi. Could you please explain, just out of curiosity, don’t sweat it, how is this piano working when there’s literal vines sticking its legs to the ground and who knows whatever creatures inside? Oh, fun fact, I tried to play it before and obviously didn’t work so how? And most importantly, are you a monster or something? Because you just played something you only heard once a few hours ago. Please and thank you."-
"Maybe if we play it together it will actually sound this time?”; Purpled tried, hoping it would work.
“Yeah, let's try it! Maybe you should do the left hand and I’ll do the right, let’s see how that goes”, Tommy enthusiastically placed his fingers in the correct position waiting for Purpled to give the signal. The latter nodded after positioning himself and so it began.

“Oh, okay…” Tommy nodded, because it made sense but if they just found it yesterday why did they bring him here? “Why…” He stopped as he tilted his head, his hands twitching in his lap as he sensed an injury somewhere in the room, most likely on one of the two in the nest with him. His hands, however, were also hidden by his sleeves. “Why… Why help me?” He asked as he looked down at his hands, fiddling gently with the cuffs of the hoodie which was most definitely much too big for him but oh so warm.
“You’re a kid.” Punz answered his question like it was the easiest thing in the world yet it still didn’t make sense to Tommy.

This is basically another vigliante Tommyinnit fic but a slice of life instead of a actually big stable plot.
Tommy has moved out of the SBI household and into a new apartment with a “friend” of his. And when he means “friend” he means his closest rival, Purpled. The reason for this is because both live double lives as morally-gray crime fighters & needed a cover up for what they do in the day as young adults. Plus to lift the weight of one of their family members finding out their secret since both the boys have family friends from the “heroic” side of the system.
Most of the chapters are just fooling around & bonding in their apartment together or in the aftermath of missions.

Now at age 23 Foolish was setting out to cross off the final things of the list. With some help from someone he met while driving, a stranger called Sapnap and a beatdown car.
