    He would never admit it, but he’s been stealthily trying to get Hollander to show up at his club for years now. Hell, Shane was the whole reason he invested in the club in the first place.     This sub, Shane Hollander, is special. Not quite a brat, though not sweet and obedient either. The thought of fighting for his submission, of smacking that smart mouth and then kissing praises against it, is tempting. 

    And he’d only had the sub at his feet for minutes. Ilya left the Mastigery for many reasons, but Shane Hollander is making him forget all of them.

    “Oh!” Harris says, holding up his hand and showing off the plastic device from earlier—it’s a black oval shape with a bright yellow, raised circular button in the center. “This is a clicker. It’s used for training for dogs. When Sadie does something good, you click and then give her a treat or praise. It’s to indicate she did something good! Positive reinforcement and all that jazz.”

    “And if the dog is bad, then what?” Shane asks before he can stop himself. Ilya shoots him a curious look, one that asks why do you care? And it’s a fair question–it’s not like they’re planning to discipline Anya in any way. But Shane honestly doesn’t know why he’s so intrigued; he just is.

    "Now, now," Ilya calls to the room, walking in from the shower, hair still dripping wet. Shane can see the dark spots from where the droplets landed on his shirt. The idiot hasn't even dried off completely, the wet of his body making his shirt stick. He wants to take a towel and smother him. "Do not stress Hollander out. Is bad for baby."

    Luca makes a confused sound from where he's lacing up his sneakers. The angel that he is, he spares Shane the irritation of not joining whatever nonsense the rest of the guys are cooking up. "Huh? What baby?"

    "Him," he goes to his cubby, starts messing around with his bag, his back to the room. "Hollander is baby."

    "Rozanov." Shane is at the end of his rope. This entire team can burn to the ground for all he cares.
