And what that had to do with anything, even Clark didn't know… Batman was a professional at making the alien feel flustered. He mastered the whole ‘being intimidating’ concept.
"Is that so?" Batman turned back toward him, and it was clear even he didn't understand what the other was getting at.
"Yes… you know, the Moon is so beautiful. If you look up at it, it doesn't blind you like the Sun… you can just simply admire it." By this point, Clark had taken his eyes off Batman and started looking up at the Moon.
OR, Clark starts to ramble about his fascination with the Moon to Bruce, and Bruce takes it as a sign to send Clark pictures of it.

He’d heard it all before. When Clark’s country accent slipped out more than usual, Dick would reply “Gee Pa, why didn’t you say so? I would have done my chores if I knew the banjo players were coming ‘round!”
The day Clark got called into Dick’s school while Bruce had some kind of big time meeting out of town had been another case.
or Dick gets into a fight and Clark has to pick him up. Clark girlbosses the whole situation and Dick is lucky to have him.
