There's no way this man doesn't see who he just brought home. If this even is his home. There's no way he doesn't see the nasal slits, and the gold eyes with slitted pupils. Michael may not look like his former kin any longer, may not even have their characteristic feeding slit, but he certainly doesn't look human, either.Telford sees the nonhuman features, of course. He’s seen weirder. He’s still recovering from the Ursini incident; they were nice enough to him, but they looked like bipedal turtles. If this guy’s an alien, he’s an astoundingly normal-looking one, probably capable of humanoid intelligence and speech, in which case, Telford can have a chat with him when they’re in secure quarters. And if he’s just a regular human, well, he should probably see a dermatologist and an eye doctor.
