Los Angeles has been saved from a vicious Red Ring attack!
SDN Torrance in general and the Z-Team in particular are acclaimed heroes!
Mecha Man is back, having defeated the monstrous Shroud and locked him away for good!
Chase has fully recovered thanks to retrofitted Red Ring tech, and Blonde Blazer is back as well!
Coupé has been forgiven, and is on her way to make things right with her friends and teammates!
And the fully-redeemed Invisigal is free from the hospital with functioning lung augments thanks to Royd!
But despite all of that, Robert Robertson III is struggling with uncertainties. He can't decide between his affections to both Mandy and Courtney, and he doesn't know how he can balance his time as both a superhero and as a dispatcher/mentor for the Z-Team. As a long-term antisocial workaholic, Robert just feels intense choice paralysis between his personal and professional options.
Following an extremely harrowing encounter out in the field, an unexpected resolution to his quandaries seems to have presented itself. Can this new reality actually be maintained without it becoming insanely awkward for everyone involved?
