“I dunno mate, you should ask him,” the Captain said, a little faintly. Tommy’s row of primary feathers twitched under his beady gaze. In his mind, his instincts were shouting at him: showneck showneck tuckfeathers tucktuck, asking him to submit, and he visualized beating the thoughts back with a machete.
“He’s tiny,” the phantom chimed. “He could have slipped through the air vent.”
“Hey,” Tommy snapped, voice hoarse from the stress. He shut his mouth immediately. Talking back to capturers/potential torturers was stupid, what the hell was he thinking?
The phantom brightened. “Oh, Phil, he bites! Can we keep him?”
The Captain—what kind of name was Phil?—glared. “No.” Then his eyes flicked to Tommy’s wings. “… Maybe.”
Or: Tommy just wanted to commit crimes and get bank. SBI see a small, shiny avian and immediately break 13 intergalactic codes to claim him.

It’s not very leaderly to harbour increasingly weird and wild... er... FEELINGS for your platonic Terry. But, he-he-he can explain! They’ve been on Earth way too long; Korvo’s obviously become infected by human romantic customs and mushy tendencies. The ritual of sleeping in the same bed was their first mistake. Korvo had known that was a terrible idea, but Terry had convinced him it had to be done for undercover purposes.

Everyone else is strong.
Raph has super-strength, Mikey is slippery and fast, and Leo, surprisingly, is pretty good with his portals.
Donnie doesn't have that.
What he does have is a shell that can't be used and some tech that keeps failing. In fact, even when he really tries, he can barely catch up to his brothers. Sometimes he even slows them down.
He doesn't want to do that again.
And this wound isn't that bad. He can cover it up, act normal, and it'll all be okay...
... Right?
