Summary
Once upon a time there were four Diamonds who ruled an empire. The most unruly of the four, Pink Diamond, demanded her own world to rule. However, upon discovering the life that existed on earth, the diamond assumed a fake identity and started a galactic rebellion. After a long and lengthy conflict, the war eventually ended when Pink Diamond chose to fake her own shattering, but in their grief and rage the remaining Diamonds devastated Earth with an attack that corrupted every Gem it touched.
However, this is where our story diverges from what you may know. What if instead of locking herself inside her ship for the entirety of Era 2, White Diamond worked to fill the gap that Pink left? Now the newest member of the Great Diamond Authority will have to navigate her way through a gem empire built on perfection, and a family more broken than any therapist could fix. Will her efforts be in vain or will her presence be the thing that can finally change her society, and new family, for the better?

Summary
When Katherine Freeling moves her children to the Undervale, a weather-worn house perched above the sea, she tells herself it’s a fresh start. Her brother’s death left her the crumbling hotel and all its debts, but also a chance to begin again. The fog is thick, the town is wary, and the house is never quite silent.
Strange things start small: footsteps in empty rooms, food that disappears, the faint scent of candle smoke when no one has lit a match. Then come the voices, the shifting light, and the feeling that the Undervale remembers them.
It is a story about family, grief, and the kind of ghosts that linger in houses and in people long after the doors have been locked.
In other words, the pilot we never saw.
