Izuna was having a long day. The Hatake Clan Chief was shouting. Tobirama was not helping. Madara was definitely not paying attention.
So when Izuna muttered, “Oh, fuck me,”
Well. The Hatake heard him.Now there’s public armour removal in the council chamber, a demand for witnesses, and Tobirama volunteering with a perfectly neutral, “I’ll observe.”
Behind the chaos: a crack in the mask. Missions nobody questioned. Systems nobody stopped. And Madara, finally realising that peace isn’t enough—not when it’s built on his brother’s silence.

Not to rule.
And certainly not to build peace.Yet when their brothers dream of unity— of a world beyond clan wars—it falls to them to make it real.
Izuna steps forward, skillfully aligning hearts and politics alike. Tobirama, driven by cold intellect and reputation, resolves to construct a future that no one can reasonably refuse.
Neither believes in the dream as it was told to them.
And yet— When a Hatake child is rescued from bloodline theft, and the Uzumaki-Senju alliance has been announced, the political map begins to shift.

“So… you really are applying for a sabbatical to run around the elemental nations as an, ahem, horny civilian?” Shikaku leafs through the papers, looking with despair at the perfectly neat penmanship. The annoyance of everyone in his life (including Gai) thinking he should be doing literally anything with his life except ANBU has dulled, so he can enjoy their flabbergasted looks when he decides to do something stupid.
This is a deeply, horribly, stupid idea. Kakashi knows this. However, Kakashi is also nineteen, and thus allowed to do stupid things like fucking his way across the Elemental Nations.
(It might even have worked, if he hadn't accidentally-on-purpose seduced the Shadow Mizukage.)

Summary
Kakashi's tether to his soulmate is a skin-writing bond. This means that his soulmate's thoughts appear as ink on his skin, and the closer their bond gets, the more the ink spreads.
The problem is that every word shared through their bond is an insult, and even though Kakashi has no interest in finding his soulmate, nothing short of death can sever their ties.
He met his bonded, they don't like him, and now, he has to live with that.
OR:
Kakashi and Obito are soulmates. Neither of them knows, but maybe they should.
