A warm palm cradling his cheek gently pulls Phu to face Cir. Deep, brown eyes capture him in the moment until they’re taken away from him by lashes fanning out over smooth skin, followed by warmth on his lips.
The crickets outside quiet down. The gentle gust of wind brushing past the tent fades into the distance.
