If I wasn't such a coward, he thinks, one hand gripping the railing as he leans over the edge. The wind billows through his maroon hoodie, goosebumps prickling his skin and making him shudder.
I'd do it.
***In which Robby finds Dennis doing something regretful on the roof and goes a lil crazy.

Summary
Inspired by Pillion/Box Hill (no knowledge required)
"Later, when he looked back on this season of his life, Dennis would realise that though it felt so inconsequential in the moment, this was the point in which he became sealed to Robby. This, the moment that Dennis learned that Robby already knew the power he held over him. Already knew that Dennis would say yes to almost everything. Perhaps more importantly, this was the moment that Dennis learned that Robby might just go ahead and ask for it."
***
When recent college graduate Dennis Whitaker meets an older biker in a bar in Omaha, Nebraska, it begins several months of power, control, submission and devotion that threaten to change his understanding of himself alongside his understanding of love.

Summary
Every day since they met, Jack had seen Robby trace the mark with his thumb. It was on the inside of his wrist, the D.W. a perfect image of the J.A. on the other arm. He had insisted that it was a sign the mark was real, that there was a balance, a third soul to be found. Sometimes, when Jack saw Robby sinking into the black pit of depression, when he couldn’t pull him out, he found himself believing it was true.
or: Robby and Jack finally meet the man whose mark they bear, but Dennis Whitaker isn't aware that he bears theirs.

Summary
The summer before the events of Pittfest, Robby and Dennis meet in a coffee shop, and fall for each other hard and fast. Despite this, the both of them are trying to take it slow: Robby, afraid to mess it up, and Dennis, relatively new to relationships and Pittsburgh all together. Dennis's rotations go differently, and he's currently working in the NICU at PTMC when he attends Pittfest with some medical school friends.
Robby, of course, is there when Dennis is brought in seriously injured. Their slow pace in the honeymoon phase comes to a crashing halt as they must figure out what comes next.Bookmarked by Not_Noteworthy

Summary
“Mouse!”
God, he missed it.
He freezes. All his muscles seem to turn to stone as he can’t make any step forward. The steps behind him slow down as he doesn’t move and halt at a distance.
“Mouse…” The uncertainty and such a fucking raw hope in his voice. It makes Dennis’s eyes water once more. “Is this… you?”
He won’t turn. He mustn’t turn. He—
He can’t help himself.
He turns and is immediately welcomed with the sight of Uncle Robby, heaving and dishevelled, looking him over like he’s searching for the signs, for the cues that it’s him, his mouse, until he stops at his eyes and something flashes in his irises when they lock their gazes once again.
He can’t help himself.
“Uncle Robby…”
OR, the story about separation, finding hope, acceptance, and love.
