1: oh my god… this is truly an evil fic im in love. Will’s trauma, Mike’s mixed personality, the codependency, the angst, omg. I’m so scared for Will why tf did Mike do what he did
2: holy spice I’m honestly loving the dynamic and can imagine these scenes very clearly of them talking… also Mike how tf r u “not gay”
3: god this is so good. I love how well it attacks the death of El impacting their relationship, which I feel like is ignored a lot, it shouldn’t be because El was important to both of them. I also love the premise of this fic including a lot of sex, but it’s not the main focal point of the story, it’s just a part of it. It’s a part of the messy relationship of Mike and Will. That last part was so sad omg. I hope Mike can fucking get over himself
4: genuinely such a sweet ending. Loved that we got to see Will deal with his own self a bit and realize his relationship with Mike, but ultimately deciding it IS a relationship that can become real :3 def recommend

Summary
Continues immediately after the events of season 5 episode 7. Basically the finale, but written by someone who actually cares about queer representation. Mike did NOT deserve that absolute assassination and I WILL be doing him right.
In other words, a fix-it fic based on my last byler theory on my YouTube channel (@i.dontknowhowtodance, the period is IMPORTANT), in which we get a Mike-central finale where byler is canon. I do want to clarify I only watched the finale once and I refuse to watch it again so I might get some plot points wrong but you guys don't care anyway because no one likes the finale.

Robin leaned closer, voice gentle. “All I’m saying is, it’s okay to like him. And it’s also extremely, painfully obvious.”
Will froze. “…to who?”
Robin’s grin stretched slow and wicked. “Only to me. Because I understand. He doesn’t know, don’t worry. Because that boy? Dense. Like, heroically dense. Historically dense. Scientists are going to study him.”
Will huffed, cheeks burning. Will’s eyes darted involuntarily to the centre of the room. Max and El were squished together on an armchair. Mike was sprawled on the carpet with Dustin and Lucas, waving his arms around dramatically as he argued about which Star Wars film was objectively the best. His hair was a mess. His cheeks were flushed. He was smiling.
And Will felt that stupid expanding warmth in his chest that he couldn’t get rid of no matter how hard he tried.

Post-Vecna, Will and Robin continue to bond. Robin knows Will likes Mike. Mike thinks Will likes Robin.
One jealousy spiral, several misunderstandings, and a lot of pining later… they finally kiss.
