Summary
One day, when Mihawk is bored, she decides to join Shanks to challenge him to a duel except that the captain and his crew are on the depart for Fishman Island. With nothing else to do and planning to go there one day or another, Mihawk decides to go with them, but it's harder to part with the pirates when they become friends with a group of beautiful mermaids. Mihawk decides to stay a little longer, just to keep an eye on Shanks and his new friends. But Mihawk isn't jealous okay, she's just watching over her rival's safety. If anything it's one of Shanks's new friends, an octopus woman, that is jealous of her.

Summary
So finding the object of the captain's affection, while also providing a solution to their red problem in the form of an embittered Shanks, therefore posed a tiny challenge for the rest of the crew. Guided by the simplest solution, they could have simply gone to Kuraigana Island, only firstly, Shanks would probably have panicked before their ship even reached shore, and secondly, there was no guarantee that their little murderous birdie would even be in the nest at that point (in most circumstances, this was probably the case, but never mind).
So, for the moment, the Red-Hair Pirates are left with one thing - to complain to their captain, who complains to them that they complain to him that he still hasn't taken any initiative towards winning the warlord's heart.Or a few days in the life of the Red-Hair Pirates, who help their dear Captain deal with his feelings for a certain warlord with beautiful golden eyes.

Hence, the warlord's only option was to stay on this part of the Grand Line and promise to look after the interests of the Red-Hair Pirates in their absence, and to wait alone and patiently for his beloved to return to him and their home.Even if it hurt more than the nastiest wound inflicted by the edge of a poisoned blade.
Or the World's Greatest Swordsman and the ever-cold and stoic Dracule Mihawk misses Red-Haired Shanks, who sailed on business to the other end of the Grand Line to confront Blackbeard, who has far from friendly intentions towards him.

The ever-reliable crew of the Red-Hair Pirates can't wait to celebrate their dear Captain's birthday, until the aforementioned red-haired bastard orders them to throw him a party that will surprise him and, in the process, cause them to have a nervous breakdown and consider throwing themselves overboard.
They just forgot that there was already a solution to all their problems they were facing right now in the form of a certain, peculiar bird of prey.
