    Desmond wakes up in Hell after dying to save the world. Honestly not the biggest shock he's had in the last year.

    The Brotherhood's presence in the afterlife leaves a lot to be desired, but Desmond doesn't have the standing or the drive to try fixing it fresh from Earth. He's ready to live and let live, until a certain media mogul declares war on Heaven, and Desmond decides he has to act, Brotherhood's backing or not.

    That he ends up crossing paths with Lucifer Morningstar, originator of humanity's free will, is a bonus perk he's not going to pass up.
