Summary
When a form of ancient, near-forgotten magic saves her from meeting her tragic destiny, Hermione Granger finds herself navigating the forties with one goal in mind: to definitely destroy the cause of her ills once and for all. But when strange, fragmented memories, soaked in old magic, let her glimpse a lost, unreachable past, things turn out to be more complex than she initially thought. The closer she gets to the truth, the harder it becomes to carry out the one thing she came to do.
A/N: You don’t need to know anything about Hogwarts Legacy to enjoy this story. All essential elements are explained within the fic. Readers familiar with the game may notice a few subtle references sprinkled throughout. Not required, but fun to spot.

Summary
“I think there’s a reason they placed it in here, Sho.” Z’ashi whispered back. “We have nothing to offer them by keeping us, and the only reason they haven’t thrown us out of the airlock is because we're live meat. We’re the meal, aren’t we?”
“We don’t know that.” Shota’s voice could cut steel. “From what they saw, the Terran’s didn’t eat the remains of the captured prisoners. They had developed living spaces and were a tier 4 society. They may not condone the consumption of higher life forms.”
“When you’re as hungry as I am, my love, everything becomes a lower life form.”
Or, my spin on the mha human's are space orcs trope. How much crazier would it be if humans had quirks?
