An explosion, a sign of attack, a raid on the safe house and a sister leading it.
Sirius expected to die, then and there - but Aster seemed to have other plans.
Sirius survives. The others didn't.
Another raid, another explosion, another safe house with the dark mark lingering above it.

Sirius survives, again and again, but not by his own skills.
