In his dreams there are people who care for him with so much love that it hurts, the sea sings of their happiness in the background of windmills or immense trees like an old painting that tells a faded and fragmented story almost forgotten in the vagaries of time.
And even though it hurts to wake up and realize he's alone, it's still better than not having them.
Even so, Harry wants to understand why he feels like screaming and tearing off his own skin whenever he remembers those people who bring sharp pain like thorns bathed in poison surrounding his heart and bringing him suffering with every beat and breath to rot his flesh into a permanent scar.
Maybe magic will bring a solution.
