His eyes were drawn to the figure of a boy standing off to the side a little, currently struggling to get the glove on his right hand off while holding his phone in his left. He seemed to be around Simon’s age, and just a little bit taller. His blond, somewhat longer hair framed his face that Simon couldn’t quite make out at this distance. Something in his appearance kept Simon’s eyes drawn to him, even when Sara nudged his shoulder and giggled. “Oooh, found a cute german guy, huh? Why don’t you go over and say hi?”
Simon huffed and shook his head, ready to tell Sara he wouldn’t just go up to a complete stranger in a city he didn’t know, in a foreign country, when he didn’t even speak his language. But then the boy stuffed his glove into his pocket and started to type away one handedly, only that his glove did not stay inside the pocket of his coat. No, it decided to slip from the opening, flopping down onto the ground as the boy slowly wandered off.

Simon flopped onto his bed, rolling his eyes at his friend. Rosh was messing with their hair again, sighing as she opened the ponytail and let her long dark hair fall over her shoulders. "I know, I know… but it's the first time I see her in person, I need to look more than fine."
Simon let out a frustrated groan and grabbed his teddy, throwing it in the air to pass time. "She'll love you, really. You've texted for, what, two months now?"

Simon is great at multi-tasking. He can simultaneously make himself a sandwich, talk with his sister on the phone, toe out of his dingy sneakers and check his inbox on his laptop, no problem. Except when he opens the attachment on his latest email to find a 32 page non-disclosure agreement for his new client he proceeds to trip over his newly shed shoe, drop his sandwich face down onto his keyboard and exclaim ‘fuck’ into his poor sister’s ear. Apparently the multi-tasking could use some work.

Summary
Wilhelm wants to die. He needs to say words to fill up the air because, all of sudden, he is now feeling the good kind of overwhelmed and nauseous.
"Even when you're not singing or performing, you fill up the space." It doesn't even make sense when he says it but Simon smiles wide, his eyes crinkling like they do and Wilhelm feels rewarded. The night light shines perfectly on Simon's skin, his alcohol addled brain duly notes. "I think I've been in awe from the first time I saw you perform in that show you opened for. And today I had my breath taken away again, you know. Your voice dulled the irritating noise around me." God, Wilhelm needs to stop talking.

Spare Prince Wilhelm had memorized the way to exist, the steps to understand himself and breeze through life, duties, obligations without feeling the dread pooling in his gut.
And it was enough, at least he thought it was...until he meets a certain singer, Simon Eriksson who practically turns his world in the opposite direction and maybe teaches him how to feel and love along the waySeries

Summary
Wilhelm, who is ND and has severe anxiety, and his musician almost cousin-in-law, Simon, slip out of a family party to discuss music. They have a touching moment that leads Simon to ask him for help with a life changing decision.
August warned Simon about his cousin.
’Don’t touch him. Don’t shake his hand. Don’t bump into him. Don't spend any more time with that little freak than you have to.'
But something felt different when they slipped away together, years later, at his nephew's birthday party, chatting and bonding over music. Wilhelm flinched when Simon absentmindedly tapped his arm, but he also touched Simon intentionally, going so far as to cover his mouth, so August wouldn't catch them alone together.
Simon knew Wille was going to ask if he hurt him when he took his hand away from his lips, but if Simon was being honest, and he had no reason not to be, at least not with himself, it was actually fucking hot.
