Summary
It isn’t like any of them actually care about him. If they did maybe they would have asked him once since that night if he was okay, rather than cleaned up the bodies and wiped away the blood and pretend like they didn’t leave him alone with the ghosts of the Uchiha and the memories of never being enough.
(Why does Naruto pretend to care so much?)
A look inside Sasuke's mind from before the Uchiha Massacre to the final fight at the Valley of the End.

Summary
And Satoru knows, logically, that the kid bears even less similarity to Toji than Satoru does. Logically, he knows that blood bears no destiny, that Megumi bears no responsibility for the things that his father did or didn’t do, the consequences he did or didn’t create.
But what good does logic do? The problem being dead doesn’t mean it’s dead at all, just different.

Summary
“We aren’t kids from one of your TV shows who can live in train cars and trees,” says Megumi. “We’re real orphans.”
But as it turns out, Megumi and Tsumiki are fictional orphans, and Megumi is the brave protagonist of this fantasy. Gojo Satoru swoops into their lives, lifts them out of the cage of their one-bedroom flat, and deposits them firmly in the world of the sorcerer. Gojo Satoru saves them both: Megumi because he’s valuable, and Tsumiki because she’s there.
