Jack’s voice cuts through his daydreaming. “Y’know, I always say you’ve never really listened to a band unless you’ve seen them live—” A buzz as his pager goes off. “Shit—gotta go.” He points at Trinity, addressing her as he says, “Stay away from sharp objects, the only time I wanna see you in here is when you’re being paid for it.” As he exits the room, he brushes a hand gently on Dennis’s shoulder, over the soft fabric of Robby’s shirt. “See you around, kid.”
The door shuts softly behind him and Trinity and Dennis both immediately start talking:
“Dr. Abbot’s kind of more of a dick than I thought he was—”
“Do you think it’s fucked up if I think my boyfriend’s best friend is hot—”

Daniel almost chokes. “What?”
“I’ve been researching human affairs online, and it’s a popular way for them to capture their passion for one another and share it with the world. I think it’s romantic,” Armand replies calmly.
Daniel can’t help but smile at him, amused by Armand’s innocent take on something so dirty. “So, what, you watched Kim K and Ray J going at it and figured that’s an expression of true love?”
Armand frowns, a mixture of confusion and annoyance on his face. “Well, perhaps it’s not always about love. Maybe just lust, in some cases. But isn’t lust just as significant as love? Just as worthy of being captured on film and remembered for all eternity?”

Armand lowered his eyes and spoke softly, “You want to know if what Daniel wrote about me is true?”
“Yes, Armand; I would love to know.” Came the reply from Daniel’s friend, a little condescending, but that was alright, Armand didn’t mind.
A quick gaze at Daniel proved him to be only mildly amused. How far would he allow Armand to go then?
“I could do a small demonstration. If you’re curious.”

Life's milestones warrant a party. Like, for example, selling 20 million copies of a book.
There is no reason not to throw a party. There is no reason not to invite every person Daniel's ever met.There is no reason for Armand to show up. But that is besides the point.
