Summary
Damon has known her his entire life. He knows the old scar on her right knee is from tripping on a jagged rock in his father's gardens, as a girl. He knows that particular, vibrant shade of green her eyes flash when she's furious with him. He knows that she's better than he deserves. And Damon knows she always leaves.
But they're bound somehow, by some kind of magic that transcends time and reason. She's his personal ghost, and Damon doesn't know if he's been blessed or cursed.
