anyways this is like lowkey a self insert fanfic but basically hannibal gets accepted into…my highschool’s humanities program as an exchange student and will is like a non-humanities kid like me but he should be in it and they meet from uhm…literature class and then they slowly become friends and deal with the shenans of the american high school system and then they fall in love. mwah <3. 9 years later in 1955, Hannibal Lecter VIII is set to be the new godfather after his father Count Lecter steps down from his post as the godfather.
Will spends the rest of his teen years with the Lecter family after being bought by Count Lecter. Hannibal slowly grows an obsession with him. This was Count Lecter's intention since Hannibal denied his arranged marriage to the only and oldest daughter of the Du Maurier family.

An epistolary character study (in large part, let's be real I'm not exclusively writing 30 years worth of letters here) of our good murder boys. They meet when they are very young (8/9 and 13/14), and the story covers chapter by chapter roughly six month to one year increments between 1986 and 2016 where they write to one another and their lives intertwine. They are snarky and pretentious and their friendship is the only real thing either of them has to cling to. One day, they will meet, but under what circumstances? Whose design brings them together at last, 20 or 25 years later? This is a VERY slow burn, but burn it shall.
