"Let. Go," Flins gritted out, his calm facade finally cracking to show the steel beneath.
Rerir's visible eye curved into something that might have been a smile. The distorted voice that came from behind his bandages was low, intimate, and utterly predatory. "I don't think I will. I've wanted a closer look at the man who thinks he can hold my heart in his hand."

Childe proceeds to choke on his own spit.

“Understandable, given your situation,” Zhongli offers diplomatically. “If it is any consolation, I feel much the same way.”
A possibility crosses Childe's mind, and his expression changes thoughtfully. “Say, what if we made a deal? This is the Land of Contracts, after all, it should surely be appropriate.”
He can tell he’s piqued Zhongli’s interest, as the man’s head tilts and masked amber eyes narrow in on Childe’s face. “Oh? I have to admit, Master Childe, I am not particularly looking for new business ventures at the moment."
Childe waves a gloved hand dismissively. “No, no, not of that nature. I mean for the Hunt.”
Zhongli appears even more intrigued. “I’m listening.”
With a devious grin, Childe leans toward Zhongli and speaks lowly, though there’s no indication anyone is listening in on their conversation. “What if we partnered up for the Hunt? You’re not looking for a match, I’m not looking for a match, it’s a win-win opportunity.”

Greed, the pursuit of power, desires of the flesh… All of these things and more stand as roadblocks in the way of following the path laid out by his beloved Aeon of Beauty. And for some like himself, born an Omega, with such desires an inherent part of his being, they have to try all the harder to overcome such trials in their pursuit of Beauty.
And while other Knights may bemoan the fact that this is the hand they’ve been dealt in life, Argenti conversely has chosen to see it as a blessing. A test, a trial, through which he may prove just how unwavering his faith in Idrila truly is. As he has to give up so much more of himself, going against his very nature, to embark on this journey to follow THEM. Of which he has done so happily, and always without question.
Or when Argenti's suppressants suddenly stop working, and he goes into heat for the first time in his life, he's faced with the hardest trial he's ever been given by his Aeon. But at least there is some solace that he will not have to go through it alone...

Summary
Boothill lost all of himself when his body was replaced with metal and wires. When an enemy strike destroys his framework and leaves him facing death- or it's analog- once again, he finds someone there by his side, and more than willing to help him find that humanity buried deep within.
Or, alternatively, the one where Argenti shoves his hand up Boothill's chest and strokes his nerve cable until the cyborg gets off.
Now with a sequel~
Argenti and Boothill spend a little more time with each other, learning the bounds of Boothill's anatomy and finding workarounds to get closer in spite of the distance and obstacles before them. Their paths will diverge, with no guarantee to cross once again... but sweet touches and a heartfelt promise can make the road less lonely.Series

Summary
Being the chivalrous knight he was known for, Argenti had his fair share of battles and frights, from defeating a band of drunken bandits mere seconds after he woke up from his beauty sleep to taming a group of ghostly marshmallows he deemed as ‘cute little creatures’. When he recalls this story to his comrades when they meet once in a while, they shake their heads, unsurprised at the redhead’s misfortunes that added to the long list of already existing ones.
It made for an entertaining story, although the intense emotions he felt at the time were real and rushing. This castle should be no different, the knight speculated, it will just be another one of my amusing stories to tell.
Not until...
“Leave.”
“I…beg your pardon?”
“I said. Leave,” he harshly grabbed the stem and threw it towards the door, ignoring how the thorns scraped his metal hands.
Argenti picked up the rose in the lingering silence, feeling the man’s cold stare burning holes in his back.

Yoru recognised the minor slight for what it was, but he wasn’t self-conscious enough to be affected. Why would the words of a stranger who knew absolutely nothing about him be enough to provoke his temper? “How admirable, should I give you a gold star for effort?”
“I’d rather have information.” Lilac responded without missing a beat, face scrunching as he turned the full force of his attention onto Yoru. He shivered under the heady weight, entire body buzzing like he’d been hit with one of KAY/O’s suppressive knives.
“You’re the Riftwalker, aren’t you?” It wasn’t worded as a question so much as a statement of fact, and Yoru felt as though someone had poured ice down his shirt at the sound of his moniker coming from an outsider. “I’ve heard much about you.”

“Yoru, I just want to confirm, you were not on base last night, were you?” Sage queried before Yoru could even finish his sentence, voice pitched slightly higher in what sounded like thinly concealed panic. His frown deepened.
“No, I was away on a trip, remember? But what happened last night?”
He could hear Sage’s shaky inhale even through the phone before she responded. “This is the situation. As you may recall, last night, all the agents were gathered for a team bonding night.” Yoru nodded slowly, vaguely recalling that he’d planned his trip with the express purpose of avoiding the tedious party night. “I have reason to believe that the drinks may have been spiked with something.”

Summary
Yoru pushes Chamber against a wall. Not physically. There's no force involved except for the way Yoru steps closer, impossibly close. But the man's aura overwhelms Chamber. He's not scared. He's no idiot either though. In a show of surrender, he puts up his hands as his back hits the base's gray corridor wall. It does little to calm Yoru's irritated mood down; he's of quiet rage, eyebrows furrowed as he looks for answers. Answer that are apparently written all over Chamber's face considering how thoroughly he scans it.
Chamber finds Yoru and all the ways he can get under the Riftwalker's skin intriguing.
Yoru tries not to play along—until he can't refuse anymore.

“I’m going to fuck you so good that you swear,” Yoru declares, and the startled shock on Chamber’s face that quickly morphs into something more is worth every ounce of calculating ambush he sacrificed for this upfront approach.
“Excusez-moi?” is what Chamber replies at first. “I don’t think I will ever stoop to that level, no matter how good you claim to be in bed.”
Yoru smirks, pushing off the desk. He plants one knee in the space on Chamber’s office chair between his spread legs, his right hand pinning Chamber’s shoulder back as he leans in, until their lips are mere centimetres from touching. “We’ll see about that,” he says, voice low and dangerous, and he doesn’t miss the way Chamber swallows at the words, Adam’s apple bobbing deliciously under his sharp collar and impeccable tie.
