Johnlock. Sherlock X John Watson. AU.
Sherlock is the Prince of England, brother to King Mycroft. He also happens to be an omega. Tired of being cooped up in the palace, Sherlock sneaks out and runs away to live independently and experience life as a commoner. No one suspects who he is and all goes well until enemies to the throne pillage his town. Being injured and captured into the enemies hand is one thing, but entering his rut at the same time is even worse. Weak, needy and unable to think Sherlock is at risk of losing what makes him the great Prince Sherlock. Until he meets Doctor Watson who seems too good to be true.

That one moment had sparked a series of events that included—among other things—John coming over to Sherlock with a full pint in his hand and telling him that it was a shame for him not to have a drink; Sherlock forcing himself to drink beer even though he far preferred wine or any other, tastier alcohol; Sherlock deducing John’s entire family history and status among his friends; John and Sherlock not looking up from one another to the point where John’s friends left without him because they apparently couldn’t get his attention; and finally, John boldly asking him if he wanted to take this somewhere else.

Or, John is in London on leave from the army and has a one-night-stand with Sherlock that ends up spiraling into much more.

Summary
Set immediately after 'Courting Sherlock', will not make sense unless you read that one first. Greg and Mycroft meet and quickly get bonded, leaving Mycroft panicking. Summary
