Jonny's still stuck on Thom. It hurts living with a damn hanker sore for three years, and he wishes that anyone could just yell at him and tell him to get a grip. Urge him to move on.
Freaking out isn't an option now. The show started, though faster than Jonny thought. His body's cold and hot simultaneously, his hands trembling despite knowing how he'd ease into this like any other gig. Maybe it won't be a big deal; he knew what to expect during concerts, of course.
He just doesn't expect Thom to walk up to him near the end of the set, confronting him with five initial words...
(basically that tiny flashback in my 'i wish that something would happen' fic except i actually elaborate.)
