After the revelation that Bryce did not make it to Hel, but to the world the Asteri were trying to get to, she’s ready to fall apart. Her mate and her brother are trapped and likely dead, her sword is being held by the High Lord and High Lady of this Court, and even her title as Princess of the Autumn Court means nothing here. Luckily her would be captors believed her story. Luckily, the one called Amren has a long memory and the rest are willing to train her until she can figure out how to get to Hel.
In Midgard, Ruhn is separated from Hunt by sheer, dumb, luck that Lidia was able to secret him away. And Hunt, Hunt doesn't know how he got where he is. Last he remembers, he was going to war on behalf of Sahar and now she's dead and he's- he can't think like that. There's something he has to remember... There's something they all have to remember. But the Asteri's grip is tightening and it seems all might be lost if Bryce can't return soon.
note: For my peace of mind, ToG people will not come into play. I haven’t finished that series and it’s not relevant information yet in terms of crossover. If it becomes canon that Aelin helps Bryce, and this story isn’t too far into plot points, I may readjust.
