Summary
Tommy had changed in the last few decades under Dream's careful watch. He pulsed with the lasting effects of magic and death, and his hair was a startling white color. It was tied neatly back out of his face now, after Dream had convinced him to grow it out to match Dream's own hairstyle (his only regret was forgetting how to braid it back.)
"Tommy?" Philza spoke softly, "what are you doing here? How?"
Tommy chuckled awkwardly. "You know? Living and all that jazz."

Tommy and Ranboo have spent years up in space together, living alone on an - arguably eerie - spacecraft. But it's good. It's fine. They have their coffee and flowers, they have their friendship and books. They have everything that they could have ever wanted. It's just life.
"Ranboo," He murmured, fingers gripping onto a gloved hand. "I'm gonna have a nap. You'll wake me in an hour, right, big man? Set my alarm for me, the one- the one that screeches, yeah?"
There wasn't an outright response, just the hum of a drifting spaceship and the croak of a ventilator, but Tommy knew that Ranboo was listening. He always was.
