Summary
Traumatised and hating himself after almost killing Malfoy, Harry seeks him out to apologise – but the Slytherin is more combative and furious than ever. What starts out as a fight, however, turns into a different and much needed kind of stress release. Rules are implemented and, inevitably, bent.
While Harry and Draco navigate this new, uncharted territory, things unfold around them that lead Harry down a very different path than the one he would’ve taken had he not fallen into bed with his enemy. He learns that everything he knew about Dumbledore was wrong and he ends up taking control of his own fate, prophecy be damned.

Summary
People often fear the Death tarot card. Those who don't already know its meaning tend to think it's a bad omen. But Tarot's 13th card doesn't mean physical death. It means change, transformation, the death of self, rebirth. Metamorphosis. It is a painful, arduous, and grueling process, but enduring it will lead you to freedom; a lesson Harry learns in one of the hardest ways possible.
After overhearing something at the end of Sixth Year, his entire world gets turned on its head. In hindsight, he really should have told someone. But who would believe him? So home he went. Three days is all it takes for death to knock on his door. With nowhere else to turn, he takes down every shield, every doubt, every ounce of fear, and reaches out.

In the midst of the chaos of sixth year, Harry and Draco find a source of stress release in each other that lessens their animosity - and subsequently, detentions. However, it spirals into something neither of them anticipated and breaks all of their rules. Over time, Harry slowly comes to realize that nothing is what it seems, nearly everything he thought he knew is wrong, and he can't seem to figure out the truth - because no one will fucking trust him with it.
His world shatters when he finds out that Dumbledore knew about the Dursley abuse all along. With nowhere to turn and unable to trust anyone anymore, he takes his destiny into his own hands. Prophecies can be broken, after all.

The war is over, though life for Inuyasha is anything but peaceful. Depression has settled in and makes him believe that no one cares about him. His body starts going through sudden changes and mood swings, making him far more irritable than usual, which snowballs Kagome's abuse. One day, Sesshomaru shows up out of the blue to explain to him that he is going into his first heat and is a danger to everyone around him. Kagome would never take the beads off him, now, he thought. In a fit of rage, hopelessness, and despair, he tries to kill himself that night, which also happened to be the night of the full moon. Koga of all people saves his life and gets him through that first heat, finally giving Inuyasha something to want to live for.
However, fate is fickle and works in mysterious ways. Inuyasha goes missing after Kagome's actions put him in danger and turns up at the Western Palace a month later, believing Koga is dead and that he has no one else to turn to.
