    Summary

He thrashed, eyes flying open against the gritty burn, arms and legs flailing against the viscous green goo he was suspended in. Green green green. Everything was green, it seeped into his pours, tainting his skin. He tried to claw himself upwards but he didn't know which way was up. Nausea flooded his stomach, bile building in his mouth and mixing with the green. He retched into the water, sucking in more green with each gag. He arched, legs kicking out against nothing as he clawed at his throat. Darkness crept into the corners of his eyes, creeping closer and closer and Peter heaved and gasped into the green.

    Everything went dark.

“No, c’mon Spider-Man, that way is up.”

    -

Peter Parker dies on Titan, staring up at a yellow sky that he wished was blue, and then he was choking back to life in a pool of green. He doesn’t know what’s happening, but his healing factor is being weird and he doesn’t look like he did before.

The man in the Red Hood says he can help, and maybe, just maybe, Peter will let him.

    Summary

The web of life and destiny stretches across the multiverse. Echoes of Spider-man and his story repeat over and over. But sometimes, a web has a single strand that stretches far outside the web, anchoring it to its surroundings.

AKA: Gotham has its own version of Peter Parker and spider-man stories will be told with a gotham flair.

    Summary

Peter Parker didn't mean to wake up in Gotham, with no one, no way back, and powers that barely function. He's hurt, he's hungry, and he's all alone. But most of all, he's desperate to survive on his own. The last thing he expects is to catch the eye of a notorious thief, or a boy his age with a sharp tongue as sharp as his knives, and lonely eyes.

Damian Wayne doesn't need saving. Not from rogues. Not from bullies. And certainly not from jumpy street kids with shady pasts and no respect for privacy or personal space. He doesn't need help, he doesn't need family, and he doesn't need friends. He's a highly trained assassin. He's Batman's fearsome partner. He doesn't need anyone. At least, that's what he tells himself.

    ---

In a city of strife and survival, Peter and Damian find in each other what they learned to never expect, let alone hope for: understanding, loyalty, and a place to belong. And for the first time, Gotham starts to feel like home. But secrets don’t stay secret in Gotham, and when masked identities collide, and a shadowy enemy looms closer, the bond they've formed threatens to shatter.

Because the only thing more dangerous than a city full of crime, is letting someone in.
