Summary
Basically, what would happen if Tav went down from the magic of the warding bond rings found in the shadow cursed lands. Mostly it's Astarion being agnsty and feeling guilty about possibly losing the "first person who he's truly cared for".

Astarion reacts instinctively, head whipping to that gentle glow of the matching ring across the lair. His leap from the flames means he can now see Tav’s position clearly and the sight catches Astarion’s heart and throat before dropping to churn his stomach. The light from Tav’s ring is only just fading back to its resting state, but their knees have already given out. Their hands are clutching the front of their armor as if trying to apply pressure to a wound and catch their breath all at once. They’re tilting precariously far forward, as though about to fall that last little distance to the ground, but their head is angled up. Their gaze - even from this distance appearing dazed and far off - is searching out something, someone it seems because the search stops on Astarion’s face. “No!”

Keith stared into the neon purple concoction and wondered if it would be his death sentence.
“Shiro,” he said out of the corner of his mouth. “I can’t drink this.”
“Why?” Shiro asked through his smile.
Keith glanced over to where Lance was asking if any of the Xaligas had heard of bendy straws. The aliens, as per usual, were enchanted by him.
“Because,” Keith’s teeth were locked shut to keep from chattering. “It might cause an intergalactic incident.”
Shiro’s eyes widened ever so slightly. “That’s a good reason.”When the gang is served a truth serum by an untrusting group of aliens, Keith is forced to reveal a rather inconvenient secret. This is bothersome, considering half of the galaxy is in love with Lance.

“You keep saying things like that, but you haven’t seen my face,” he says, gesturing to his mask. “I could have warts under here. I could have spots, or scars.”
“You’d be lovely even with all of those,” the young man says, and he suddenly sounds serious. It takes Keith by surprise, makes his heart twist along with his stomach. “Your eyes,” he continues, tilting his head. “I’ve never seen eyes like yours before.”

"Yes, you've already said as much, shidi. Several times." Yue Qingyuan looked like he wanted to die a little bit, which was unfair. He wasn't the one who'd been dosed with a wife-plot potion designed to lower inhibitions while also compelling the truth! If anyone here should be embarrassed, it was Shen Qingqiu!
He didn't feel embarrassed, though. That was probably due to the potion, now that he thought about it.
