Xander left a soft peck on Vincent's neck and sat back up, waiting for a reaction.
No reaction other than Vincent peeking through his fingers, so he continued, peck by peck traveling up his throat, reaching his jawline. Xander carefully pried Vincent's hands away, and continued his attack of affection.
"Where's the god you so begged to stop this?"
Mood swings, religious trauma and affection really don't fit together well without toxicity.

After a couple rings, finally a sleepy voice answered.
"What? Who's this," Zanka grumbled.
"It's Hii. Fu's jinki."
"And why are you calling me at what—one am?"
"Come over. It's cold as fuck in here. And don't tell Fu I was the one who told you to cuddle her."
Fu finds out that Hii is a piece of shit who gets them both into unnecessary trouble (she doesn't mind.)

Or Zanka and Jabber take some inspiration from the undead which ends in far more than Zanka could've ever imagined.

But that’s the deal with an addiction right? You know how bad it is, you know how disappointing it would be for your dear ones to find out about it, you know how dangerous it can be to your body and mind… But you just can’t help being drawn to it.
That’s what Jabber was to Zanka. Sadly.
or: in a world where humans and vampires relationships are reguled by hatred and distrust, Jabber and Zanka might not hate each other that much.

Wanting, though— wanting didn’t ask permission.

Jabber freezes at the light touch on his cheek, his eyes shift toward the perpetrators hand before going back to his face—unblinking and waiting for Zanka to say something, anything would help rather than the silence that enveloped his ears—almost like he was underwater. The hand on his cheeks freezes when he does, Zanka finally says something. “Is this okay..?”
Or:
Zanka gets pricked by Mankira, he gets mushy and soft which infects Jabber then he promptly falls asleep on him.
