Summary
Pharaoh, who is rumored to be ruthless and a tyrant, is actually a good king who is adored by his citizens. But more than his citizens, Pharaoh has someone that he cares for, he longs more than anything, he desires to stay with for the rest of his life—which is the Lunar kingdom’s king, Lunar Phase. Fortunately, his feeling is mutual; Lunar Phase does long to stay with Pharaoh and if possible, he wishes to unite both of their kingdoms. This is why, they both often meet secretly around the border to have a talk about their plan, about the future, and of course on top of that, to relieve their longing for each other.
However, unlike Pharaoh, who is used to wandering alone without guard, Lunar Phase’s case is a bit different. The king in Pharaoh’s kingdom is required to be the strongest and unlike usual rules, the king is required to come to the front line during the war. While in the Lunar Kingdom, their kings are considered to be sacred, innocent, and protected by any kind of harm.
As a result, the citizens are furious when the news broke out. Nobles, Royal Court, even Lunar Phase’s trusted advisor turn his back on him.And at the end of the story, the king was labeled as a traitor and to be executed.
