Summary
It was uncomfortable for Obi-Wan to acknowledge it, but the words meat-droid hit far too close to home where Commander Cody was concerned.
Commander Cody is reconditioned before he is deployed for the first time. Obi-Wan has never known him to be otherwise.
No one has any hope for getting him back, not even his batchmates. Reconditioning is permanent. Isn't it? Then a battle gone wrong changes everything.

Summary
The only way for the clones to gain citizenship, is for a high ranking member to marry a well placed republic citizen.
Cody's batch think this is hilarious.
---
Mace hands him the list of jedi who have signed up for this. It's a high number of them, whichever clone ends up doing this will at least have a decent selection of potential spouses to choose from. Mace only wishes they could do more.
"Is he on there?" Wolffe asks, voice laced with excited mischief. Mace wonders who he means, but it's apparently obvious to all the Commanders, if the fresh wash of humour into the force is anything to go by.
"Of course he's on there." Cody replies on a sigh.
