“I’ve designed many buildings in my career,” Kaveh begins, the attention of every single person in the crowd fixed on him. “Most of which have been extravagant pieces made to stand tall in our city and glitter.”
Kaveh glances down at what must be some notes on the podium, pausing before he looks back up, shining in the bright lights of the stage.
“But in recent years, I must admit that my focus has shifted.”
Alhaitham leans forward, watching, hoping for something he can't quite admit. Not when the truth is that he’s never known how to say that he is hungry without fear that people will see the truth that he is starving.

Summary
"Kaveh," Alhaitham normally doesn't care for softness. He isn't a man who minces his words or tries to make them more palpable for others. Not even for Kaveh, especially not for Kaveh. Right now, Alhaitham is trying to be soft. His boyfriend's voice is gentle like he's trying to lure back a kitten at the edge of windowsill. Kaveh would laugh at the tone if he could manage to get any air in his lungs. "Kaveh, can you hand me the knife?"
And Kaveh doesn't want to. He doesn't like that he's relapsed; he hates how the blood has dried on his skin and how blotchy his face feels from tears, but in comparison, the knife is an unchanging, almost calming presence. His grip tightens on the blade, and he hears Alhaitham take in a sharp breath.
"Kaveh, please."

Alhaitham makes a strange decision and decides to take on the mantle of the Grand Sage out of nowhere after being persuaded somehow by Nahida who said she wanted to take a holiday. It is so unlike him.
Now that Alhaitham is the Grand Sage, Kaveh does not like the idea at all. He believes Alhaitham would surely reject all the new funding requests from the Kshahrewar, even deny his current fiance of many things. Alhaitham is busy. Alhaitham has no time. He is also sure that Alhaitham would send him to the furthest corner of the Hypostyle Desert if he could. But Alhaitham had other things on his mind - a incident that had to do with Kaveh, and it was not in anyone's favor.
However, Kaveh keeps thinking he does not know Alhaitham’s mind at all. Or does he? Why does it seem that somehow, the house feels a little cold, and a little lonely. Why even, Kaveh wonders Alhaitham agreed to be married in three months’ time?

From behind the tripod stand, Kaveh spared a few fleeting glances above the kamera to gauge his shot. It was rather amusing to watch him worry his lip and furrow his brows, to catch him fiddling with his cravat because wearing a stuffy Fontainian suit whilst learning the intricacies of a brand new device must certainly be uncomfortable.
A click of a button, the shutter went off, and a flicker of light stung the scribe's eyes, yet he remained still regardless. Kaveh hummed and smiled as he studied the picture scrupulously, rubbing a finger beneath his chin, frowning, narrowing his eyes...
Kaveh takes an interest to Fontainian technology; more specifically the kamera.

Summary
Childe always talks about getting Zhongli pregnant during sex. Being the good mate he is, Zhongli decides to make Childe's fantasy a reality, misunderstanding the situation greatly.
