Summary
An OC and original story. Starting at Dragon Age II and continuing thru Trespasser. A look at understanding the 10 years between the beginning of DAII and the second act, then finally Inquisition. To flesh out why Cullen would soften to the Mages. Clearly Hawke would not be the only one to cause that. Understanding life in Kirkwall and how the Templars were viewed. Rape/Non-con alluded to, but not described - because blights are hell.

MBIT story that takes place in game - then ---not
An untypical twist to cannon story. Everything in the game happens pretty much as scripted 'out loud' in a Female mage Trevelyan cannon scene play through as Bioware drafted. That is key to this story.
Did you ever wonder why sometimes the scenes feel odd - like there is something unsaid. Like the characters are kept from saying what they really really want to say. Especially Cullen - that sweet barely stuttering mess at the beginning who can barely go after what he really wants?
Inspired by a deep dive into Quantum Leap and Total Recall.
