He’d always been sensitive to smells, but he needed a vice, and this one wasn’t illegal at the very least.

Jabber had a good handle on things. He knew what he wanted. He knew how to get it. And recently, he knew what Zanka wanted. And he knew that he really wanted him to accomplish that (beating the hell outta Jabber). So when he wants to see Zanka laughing his head off without a care in the world, he decides the new toxin he's come across is perfect for their next fight.
But that's not exactly how it happens. Because Jabber Wonger is a scientist that doesn't like to follow all the rules.
And when the consequence of that ends up being him having to trip sit a very clingy, overly affectionate Zanka?

A pang hit Noé's chest as something inside him shouted that he didn't want to ever move out. That he didn't want anything to be done. That what's done being done meant there wouldn't be any more memories to make in Paris and there was no guarantee that the ones he did make wouldn't disappear. He pushed that side of himself deep into his stomach and exhaled lightly. Their contract wouldn't be done for another nine months, and in the meantime, he was real. Figuring out whether he wanted to be for Paris or for Vanitas could be postponed.
