Milligan thought that his work was just about over when the Institute closed.
Sure, he still had to locate the brainswept victims scattered across the globe. And he knew that Curtain himself was still out there, surely coming up with some nefarious plot or other. But he thought he might have a day or two off, just once in a while.
Of course, that was before he was tasked with not one, but two rescue missions for his kidnapped friends and family, managing his trustworthy team of agents, messing up the Ten Men’s plans at every turn, and—oh yeah—figuring out this whole “fatherhood” thing.
