Liam’s got a gentle kind of slaughter in his eyes when he steps closer to Theo.
“Fuck you, too. You know?” Liam says, no heat, no forest fire. Careful with his words like there’s an end goal to his insult. “Not...not you right now. But you before? Fuck you, dude.”
There’s no mystery in what Liam means, the past he’s staring into when he sets eyes on Theo’s face. That’s an inescapable thing, too.
