JULY 08 2003Four years following the Hikikomori route and Basil's subsequent suicide, Sunny's mental state has deteriorated even further. Moving out from his mother's place to further isolate and live in a cheap apartment, He dreams inside headspace away from the risk of ever hurting the ones he cares about again. Meanwhile in the waking world, working quietly under a small convenience store as the local Janitor to sustain his life style. Under the suggestion of his well meaning employer, he absentmindedly signs up for a newsletter and answers a strange survey sent to his mail a day later.
Weeks later, he begins receiving strange phone calls. Things go downhill very quickly.
