    Summary

A pack with only Alpha females. All mated to one packmate, like the old days. It was unheard of, but Grivana Palefang was determined to make her vision come true. And when she met Seren, a recently debuted Feyblood, she sensed her years-long search for the right Omega had finally come to an end.

Except Seren hadn’t technically come out as either Beta or Omega. Nor had she given much thought to the future. Or mates. Or who she might even want.

But all it took was a bow and a bare smile from Grivana, and her world was turned upside down and inside out. Maybe being a packmate was exactly what she was made for…

It’s not that Santana can’t talk dirty. She just can’t talk dirty and be in the middle of the sex. Or in the middle of needing the sex. Or while doing anything with sexing, really… whatever, it’s never mattered before. Not before Rachel. And her damn mouth.

She can’t stop thinking about Rachel’s shady tactics. She’s not sure what’s more infuriating–that Rach would stoop to such a level knowing exactly what she was doing, or that it was fucking working. Seriously. Bitch. Santana Lopez not able to do something sexually? Absurd. Fucking bullshit. Oh, she could do it. Game on, Berry

“This better be good,” Kleya said at the same time as Vel, leaning dangerously close over the many wires and knobs of the console, whispered. “Are you fucking my cousin?”

She preferred silence over noise, had done so ever since Luthen’s coarse fingers had dragged her from that ship and marched her through a wasteland of bodies that had no strength left to scream.

    Summary

In her periphery, Vel noticed a shadow shift on the stone floor, movement somewhere behind her. She whipped around and wasn’t quite sure how to react to who was there.

“You’re not on your guard. I could’ve been an assassin,” Kleya said haughtily. She stepped forward on light feet to join Vel at the large window.

“You’d like that, wouldn’t you? Me removed from your side?”

Kleya scoffed, which was far from a denial. Vel rolled her eyes and ignored the fire that burned in her chest whenever Kleya looked at her with disdain.

Since they had fucked twice, Vel knew Kleya was very much flesh and blood, and her hate was too ideological to compare her to a droid, but that didn’t stop Vel from thinking of her as one.

“And there she is; a saint, a mother, a sword-wielding judge, preserved in mosaic whose edges have only just begun to crumble. The monks might have written her out of their scriptures over the centuries, line by line obscuring her role in the story of God and man, but here she stands. She is preserved in tinted tile; mute, but indelible, a quiet monument to the faith of women and the ways in which the Church still rests on their shoulders.”
