    Perth and Santa have hated each other since their childhood, but chose to put up a friendly act in front of their parents since they didn't want to be the ones breaking up their parents friendship. Perth presents as a dominant Alpha, however, Santa was yet to have his gender presented. Every time he takes a test, it comes back inconclusive. This time around, the doctor is expecting guaranteed results. This is when Perth and Santa's parents give them an ultimatum. If Santa turns out to be an Omega, he will be forced to marry Perth, but if he presents as an Alpha, both of them will be arranged to marry Omegas chosen for them. When Santa is revealed to be an Omega, their fate becomes sealed in a way neither of them ever wanted. Now trapped in a marriage built on resentment and years of tension, they are forced to live side by side, navigating a bond they never chose. As anger slowly gives way to something neither of them expected, the line between hatred and desire begins to blur, leaving them to question whether their feelings were ever as simple as they believed.

    Every now and then, one of them will try to actually grab him. They only get so far, and Santa has gotten pretty good at dodging out of the way or spraying soda water on them, but it's still rattling to have a huge fucking hand reach out to try and do god-knows-what to him. Joss or Force will flash their taser, growl under their breaths, and whoever's on the other end of the bar will raise their hands up in surrender and say something like, “excuse the fuck outta me,” like it's not their fault they're trying to grab Santa.

    The way Perth says it, his tone of voice, the way his eyes bore into Santa — it all makes him nervous, stops him from meeting Perth’s gaze and makes his hands clammy. He can’t pinpoint why exactly, not even with his mind moving at one hundred miles an hour to try to come up with a solution. Eventually he just settles on fixing his gaze on the ground and bringing one hand up in a half-hearted wai. Then, with a small voice, “Thank you.”

    “No problem.” The feeling of a finger under his chin takes Santa by surprise, yet he allows himself to be moved nonetheless, pouting unknowingly as his eyes meet Perth’s. “I’ll see you around?”

    Santa is straight. At least, that's what he's always told himself until Perth Tanapon decides to put everything he's ever known to the test.
