Cherri was running, “of course, it had to be today” she muttered to herself, there was no reason today was worse than it would have been on any other day, but she was hoping that there wouldn't be a day at all.
Thornhelm decided to attack a gathering she was attending, most likely with the express purpose of capturing her for leverage in the war.
Realized that I hadn't seen any even vaguely enemies to lovers hellfire yet, so I decided to write some.
This is an AU where Apo was never rescued from Thornhelm and is now a full grown soldier who is entirely loyal to her kingdom until a certain princess manages to worm her way into her heart

Nico di Angelo is a villain to the whole city; the media is on his back daily, and police chases have become a regular part of his life. If he was even a little more spiteful, he would start committing real crimes-not just the minor break-ins he's been charged with so far.
