Taejoon started whining about the clients at first, Youngwoo standing next to him and listening intently. Then he moved to his coworkers, his incapable assistant, how he almost missed an important meeting because of them, how the traffic was a nightmare and how his cigarettes ran out after the first meeting and he didn’t have any time to go and buy a new pack.
Youngwoo kept listening, cleaning the plate after Taejoon finished his food, switching it for a glass of Taejoon’s favorite soda. They never left the kitchen, and when the complaints finally stopped, he went in and cupped Taejoon’s cheeks gently, staring him in the eyes.
“You ever come back so late again, without even having a break, I’m breaking your leg so you have to take a sick leave from work.”
Taejoon chuckled, arms sneaking around Youngwoo’s waist and pulling him close.
“You said the same thing yesterday.”
