Summary

And while Rayla swears to find them and bring them home, her investigation into their disappearance will pull her down into a deep rabbit hole unlike anything she's ever dealt with before.

Summary
Katolis and Xadia are healing. Callum, Rayla and Ezran have succeeded in their goal. Everyone is moving forward. That's at least what has been the prevailing narrative over the past two years. It must be true; dragons are visiting Katolis for the first time, and alliances are being formed.
But are they really mending? What raging tensions still exist underground that have not been brought to light? Ezran is confronted with the harsh reality of these questions when a party to celebrate their new Xadian allies goes awry, a painting is vandalized, and his ensuing speech fails to capture the hearts and minds of his people. How much does he really know about them?
When a red-haired human finally speaks up, claiming to be the one who desecrated the portrait in the first place, everyone is finally hit with the cold, hard truth of reality, and moving on might be harder than originally planned.

Summary
Disgraced and cast out, Claudia has spent the past three years attempting to repair her life from the shambles she was left in after Aaravos. Her road was painful, challenging, and long, and filled with way... way too many tears. Luckily, she's had the support of a few friends along the way, one of those being none other than the Dragon King himself, Azymondias. Finally, after years of painstaking work and healing, she receives an invitation from the dark magic legion. They are prepared to hear her case for re-induction, one of the final pillars of her life that she still needs to restore. Azymondias is all too happy to help her, but as the appointment approaches, Claudia seems far more nervous than she should be for such a happy occasion, and Zym begins to get the sense that something is really, really wrong.
Perhaps him coming along might've been more necessary for Claudia's well-being than he first thought...

Summary
Claudia has been slowly recovering for the past few days, traveling throughout Del Bar in search of her mother. However, occasionally, events from her past still return to haunt her, and one night, she is violently ripped into the waking world from a nightmare stemming from an old memory. Luckily, she's not alone. Azymondias, the sky-blue dragon who had managed to track her down a couple of days pull her out of the spiral she was in, is here to offer his assistance. And so, with some persuasion from Zym, Claudia finally opens up about a deep trauma in her past that she had been hiding from virtually everyone.
"In Darkness There's Light" Is not required reading for this story; you should be able to understand it without it. However, this story does take place in between chapters 1 and 2 of that little fic, so if you want some extra context on why Claudia and Zym are traveling together, I would recommend at least reading chapter 1 of that before you begin this one, but again you don't have to. It's a short read; if you want to, you can read it here:

Two years after the Battle of the Storm Spire, Xadia and Humanity have been able to live in relative peace and harmony. Azymondias has taken on the role of King of the Dragons and, together with Ezran, Callum, and Rayla, has been helping relations improve between the two halves of the continent. It seems that the world is headed for a bright future. However, no change is without opposition, and trouble begins to brew when a certain Sun Dragon starts to take action against the growing unity.

A few days after Aaravos' temporary defeat, Claudia is destroyed. Her entire world is gone, and she has been reduced to a shell of her former self, merely waiting in this awful lake for his return, the one elf who can bring her light. That is, of course, until she gets a very unexpected visitor.
Having witnessed his friends' failed attempts to bring Claudia back, Zym decides it's up to him to try something new... He's going to make this right... he has to.
