Summary
Spending her twenties working on thugs, wasn't her dream job but a dream pays. She's getting by, saving up- for what? Maybe an early retirement, despite graduating Med-school not too long ago. Patience wearing thin and growing increasingly tired by each passing day, her formerly people pleasing and reserved personality soured into bitterness. Typically, she'd decline a favor that would come her way, but how tempting is another million yen...
Warning: There might be some smut later… but I'm unsure whether my readers would like it or not.

Summary
Kanae had once hoped to leave this world with no regrets.
However, this was nothing more than an unachievable dream to most demon slayers.
Kanae wished she would have lived a little bit longer.
Long enough to at least watch her sisters grow up.
With a heavy heart, she stepped into the light, anticipating her late parents’ embrace.
But fate had other plans for her.
Or: Kanae died during her battle with Douma. Instead of going to heaven along with her family, she woke up in a world where magic, warriors, and monsters seem to be the norm. She has minor amnesia, but as she traverse through this foreign land, perhaps she'll be able to attain something more precious than her memory.

Summary
“Trivial problems are as worthy of my help as anything else. People need help; I want to lighten the load of those in need. Besides, I like you. It would be my pleasure to assist you for the remainder of the days I'm staying here.”
“That’s very noble of you, Captain. So, where do you suggest we start looking for my book?”
