Summary
This year of their cabin vacation, Robby swears will be the year he doesn’t perv on his best friend when he’s out tanning naked on the beach, when Robby can’t sleep and so he rolls over and guiltily, silently ruts into his fist with the pictures he stealthily took of Jack to bring him over.
He never lets himself keep the pictures or the shameful recordings after the trip. He doesn’t deserve to. He deserves to subsist on only the shameful memories and the guilty, horrible thoughts when he snaps a picture of Jack through the window, or turns on the audio recording when the shower can’t quite cover up the sound of Jack’s moans.
This year, Robby will be good, he will refrain from any perverted and sick behavior, he will keep it in his pants and act normal.
Never mind that he’s thought so for the last five years. He means it this time.

Summary
"Everything okay?" Jack asks immediately.
"I can't sleep," Robby admits easily.
It's always been easy to tell Jack what's wrong. Jack never judges, never rejects him.
"And before you say anything, yes, I've tried all the usual tricks."
"Come over," he says instead.

Summary
"You think Dr. Abbot is being inappropriate with Dr. Mohan?"
Santos' expression flickered. "Look, I know he's your—you know, your friend," she said in a way that implied a lot more than that.
Robby didn't engage with that side of it, simply inclining his head. "He is my friend. I've known him a long time. What you're describing would be out of character for him."
"Men always fucking say that," she snapped, a lifetime of frustration living there. "'He'd never do that; he's a family man. Goes to church on Sundays, gives to charity, pillar of the community.' But it's not like that. Abusers aren't obvious. They hide it. That's how they get in the door." She shook her head at him, like he should be smarter than this. "You're his boss. Of course you'd never see it. It would only come out with people who have less power than him."

Summary
Delusional, this entire thing. Like some Make-A-Wish dream. I'm going to kill myself tomorrow; here's what I'd like for my last day on this mortal plane. To be fucked by a man who hasn't seen him that way in years. To stand in the shower and have someone wash his hair. To eat one last breakfast. To be held. And Jack, pitying him, still, because Robby's always been the one of the two of them who can't handle shit.

Summary
"You want me to go?"
That's the last thing Jack wants. "Stay, please, you know you're always welcome."
Robby relaxes, and he carries on stirring
Jack interrupts the quiet once more with the other question that's been on the tip of his tongue.
"Why haven't you left?"
Robby freezes. He doesn't turn around, doesn't look at Jack, like it's easier to be honest this way.
"Because I think if I go, I won't come back."

After the end of 2x15. Robby turns up at Jack's house instead of going on his sabbatical and then just....doesn't leave
