But with The Event that had started this whole thing less than three days ago, part of Jungwon had become obsessed with this new, hidden side of Jay. It was something he hadn’t seriously thought of before - maybe in the back of his head idly, or during his dreams, evidenced by the uncomfortable sticky feeling in his pants when he woke up some mornings - but not seriously like this. Not something obtainable.
Now Jungwon feared he would never be satisfied with not knowing every little thing about his hyung.

Jungwon’s heart caught again. The words were already packed with so much meaning, so much love. When Jay had first said it two weeks ago, Jungwon was filled with a sense of comfort so strong it took him until Jay finished cooking his ramen to fight down the butterflies in his stomach to actually be able to eat it. Sunghoon owns a gym. He lives and breathes weight training: upper body strength, progressive overload, the whole deal.
Sunoo is a pilates devotee who can bend himself into positions that shouldn't be physically possible and will gladly tell anyone who'll listen that core strength is what actually matters.
They argue over the philosophies of each type of exercise one day. Naturally things escalate, one thing leads to another, and somehow the only logical resolution is to fuck about it.

One heated moment at the practice room led to a 'situationship' both Sunoo and Sunghoon seemed to have trouble getting out of.
"Dating is not necessary", Sunoo insisted and perhaps that broke Sunghoon's heart into pieces because even if he hates to admit it, being trapped in a friends-with-benefits set up with Sunoo was like getting convicted with a self-imposed death sentence.

They both freeze.
Jay’s lips are gone as soon as they came. His hand drops and he steps back quickly, flustered with what he’d just done. “Sorry,” he immediately apologises, eyes wide. “I don’t— I have no idea why I… did that…”

A simple sentence was all it was really, words compiled together to form a meaning. Sometimes such meanings were in fact meaningless, they held no truth and were only spoken for the sake of aggravation. Though in even rarer times, there was truth rooted in the very ground of the meaning and that was what caused the aggravation.
But what would a pirate know?
Or: Royal prince Seonghwa who is first in line for the throne, finally meets the recently captured and most feared pirate in all the Seven Seas who has been condemned to death. Every year on the feast on the Ceremony of the Golden Rose, the crown prince is to take a rose dipped in gold to present to one special prisoner as a gift of freedom and a new start at life. This year is like no other, besides the fact that the great pirate king who infuriates Seonghwa to no end might end up shedding a new kind of light on the young and very adventurous prince, changing his views altogether.
