All it takes is for one small event to occur, one small change in the timeline, and suddenly the future comes to light, tragedies and secrets are revealed, horrors and further injustice must be prevented.
Thirteen citizens, Piltovans and Zaunites, are brought to this room with one single indication: to change the future, save Powder and prevent this mysterious Jinx from being born.
Thirteen citizens, all with different backgrounds, different views of the world and on opposite sides of a war that has yet to happen. The future of their nation now rests on their shoulder.
After all, while the past may be set in stones, the future... is not.

Summary
In a world where Jinx, Isha and Sevika escape Stillwater before the Beast gets there and Ekko returns earlier from the alternate timeline; Jinx is convinced to become a symbol for the Revolution of Zaun.
Ekko and Jinx (and eventually Vi) lead the Revolution of Zaun to honor those that came before them and to fight against Piltover’s ruthless ‘justice’, ready to finally not only have a seat at the table, but full-fill Vander and Silco’s dream of an independent Zaun.
Jinx chooses to follow Silco’s dream and learns how to lead, finding a way to start healing and having hope for the future whilst still fighting in all her Jinx, chaotic glory and somehow falling in love in the chaos.
Ekko leads right next to Jinx and finally gets what he’s always wanted. A free undercity.

Jinx looked over at him, at the way he was crouching to gently pull a scrap of wire out of Isha’s fingers before she broke it—or herself. His voice was soft when he explained what it did, fingers brushing hers as he showed her the switch mechanism. The girl nodded seriously, enthralled.
Something twisted and loosened all at once in her chest.
“You really don’t do things halfway,” she said, a little too quiet, a little too honest.
Ekko glanced over at her and gave a crooked smile. “Not with you.”

To everyone who's been reading this fic from the start, I've decided to put the story on hold for a bit so I can go back and edit it (I am my own worst critic). So if you're coming back to read it again, I really recommend starting from the beginning, since I ended up changing a lot of things throughout the earlier chapters, so it might feel pretty different from the version you remember.
Nonetheless, a huge thank you for sticking around and for all the support. Sorry as well for removing this fic. I promise I'm not abandoning this story, but making it better before continuing it.

Trying to redefine herself as a mom when she hasn't had one of those in a LONG time is a little bit of a headache. But she's going to parent the fuck out of this kid if it's the last thing she does.
