“Santos, I-” Langdon started.
“Save it. It’s not the first time I’ve been chewed out for something that isn’t my fucking fault.” She snapped, voice raised to try and disguise the tremble of it. Santos never surrenders. Not when she had food poisoning and had to be dragged away from work, not when Langdon was yelling at her the first day, not when Robby was being especially petty, she never backed down.
So even admitting that should have told them something was wrong.Bookmarked by Pineapple_Productions
